The Swift Brothers Book 3: Rhett by Riley Hart

The Swift Brothers Book 3

Rhett

I’m the eldest Swift brother, the one who should have taken care of my siblings and protected them, but I’ve never been the kind of brother they deserve.

Both Morgan and East had the courage to walk away from our abusive father before I did, but now that I have, there’s no turning back. With that comes the realization that my whole life has been spent trying to be exactly what my father wanted, what I hate.

My brothers are moving on with their lives, and that brings Tripp Cassidy and his daughter, Meadow, into my orbit. For a reason I can’t understand, they both seem to like me. Tripp asks me about my favorite things, pushes me to figure out my dreams, and at thirteen years old, Meadow knows herself better than I ever have.

Every day I spend with Tripp, I can’t stop myself from looking at him differently, from craving him like I’ve never craved anyone. I haven’t been with a man, but from Tripp’s first touch, I never want him to stop.

There’s a lot to figure out—Tripp has been burned by love before, and he has Meadow to consider. I’m still working through my guilt and learning how to be the brother and man I’ve always wished I’d been. But for the first time in my life, true happiness is within reach, if only I could find a way to grab it.

My Review: 5/5 Stars

The final Swift’s brother book has arrived! We finally get Rhett’s book and learn about him. We’ve seen him through the eyes of his brothers, Morgan and Easton, but now it’s his turn. I’ve been looking forward to Rhett’s story. There has always been a lot of issues between these brothers and through each book, they’ve slowly been healing and finding their way back to one another after finally cutting their father out. Rhett was the last one to cut ties with their dad and in doing so he’s really changed. He has been working on himself and trying to find out who he is without his father controlling him. He wants to be a better brother and wants to find out who he is meant to be. And in doing so he never imagined he would have a chance to fall in love. Tripp and his daughter, Meadow, are everything he could have wanted in a partner and family. Tripp realizes that Rhett Swift is not what he seems. And this version of Rhett now looks like he is lonely and in need of a friend. It’s the most natural thing in the world to offer a hand in friendship. And in doing so he doesn’t realize how that will forever change him. He never thought he would give his heart to someone again. But the more he gets to know Rhett, the more he likes him and it isn’t long until he is falling hard and fast. I adored these two! Tripp was exactly what Rhett needed and deserved. And the same for Tripp. I loved watching these two build a friendship that turned into love. It was just so sweet. I also loved Rhett’s journey to find himself and heal after everything he has been through. Bit by bit he claims pieces of himself and he has a chance to reconnect with his brothers. A great end to this series! I absolutely loved it.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
