Royals and Romance Book 2: Go Luck Yourself by Sara Raasch

Royals and Romance Book 2

Featuring exquisite emerald sprayed edges!

It’s enemies to lovers in this sexy and delightful holiday mash up that pairs the spare prince of Christmas with the crown prince of St. Patrick’s Day!

Someone has been stealing Christmas’s joy, and there’s only one clue to the culprit—a single shamrock.

With Coal busy restructuring Christmas—and their dad now having a full midlife crisis in the Caribbean—Kris volunteers to investigate St. Patrick’s Day. His cover: an ambassador from Christmas to foster goodwill. What could go wrong?

Everything, it seems. Because Prince Lochlann Patrick, Crown Prince of St. Patrick’s Day, happens to be the mysterious student that Kris has been in a small war with at Cambridge. They attempt to play nice for the tabloids, but Kris can’t get through one conversation without wanting to smash Loch’s face in—he’s infuriating, stubborn, loud, obstinate, hot—

Wait—hot?

Kris might be in some trouble. Especially when it turns out that the mystery behind Christmas’s stolen magic isn’t as simple as an outright theft. But why would a Holiday that Christmas has never had contact with, one that’s always been the very basis of carefree, want to steal joy? Can a spare prince even hope to unravel all this, or will Kris lose something way more valuable than his Holiday’s resources—like his heart?

My Review: 5/5 Stars

I have been ridiculously excited for this book since I read book one. I need so many stories from this world. It’s so fun and hilarious and impossible to put down! Now it’s time for the other prince of Christmas to get his story and it’s amazing! Kris has always felt like the spare even when his brother, Coal, has never ever treated him that way. But between having a mom who left them and a dad who wasn’t exactly treating his sons great, well, it leaves some scars. But now dear old dad has decided to officially leave Christmas to Coal and walks away. And now more than ever does Kris feel like he isn’t doing enough to help his Holiday. That is until they find evidence that someone from St. Patrick’s Day is stealing their magic. Kris volunteers to go find out who. But he doesn’t expect to face the man who he may or may not have gotten into a study room war with to be the Prince. Talk about awkward! They’ll have to work together though because while Kris is secretly investigating, Loch has taken a bad hit publicly thanks to Kris. They need to show the public they are friends and they have no trouble running their Holidays. But the longer Kris is around Loch and his sisters, the more he realizes that something is going on with their Holiday. And the more time Kris spends with Loch, fighting and…flirting? Well, Kris knows he is in trouble. I adored Kris and Loch. I loved their banter and how easily they got on one another’s nerves. It was so freaking entertaining. Especially when Kris starts to realize their fighting is basically aggressive flirting LOL. I laughed so hard reading this book yet of course, there were plenty of moments that really tugged on your heartstrings. There is so much to all of these characters. And I loved getting to know them and watch them fall hard for each other. And of course, if you liked characters from the previous book, you’ll love their cameos! Can’t get rid of Coal and Hex and Iris just yet! Great, great story! I definitely would not mind more books in this world.
