Relationship Goals Book 4: The Home Game by Brigham Vaughn

Relationship Goals Book 4

Matty Carlson Playing House with Local Schoolteacher?

Toronto Fisher Cats enforcer, Matt Carlson, was recently spotted in the park with a hot mystery man and four children ranging in age from pre-teen to infant.

A close source indicates that the man is prep school English teacher, Antoni Bianchi, who has been spotted with Carlson in public recently.

Following the cozy park outing, Carlson was photographed with his arm around Bianchi as they returned to Carlson’s home, adding fuel to the speculation that the men are dating and, perhaps, living together.

Just friends or is something else heating up their late summer nights?

Since Carlson’s acrimonious divorce five years ago, he has not been romantically linked to anyone but rumors swirled of involvement with a man prior to the split.

Is the enforcer ready to “switch teams” for good?

When asked to comment on her ex’s sexuality, aspiring actress Courtney Quinn stated, “I don’t know why everyone is surprised. It’s not like it’s the first time he’s been with a man.”

Sour grapes from a jilted lover or secrets from his past revealed?

Check the JockGossip blog for all of the latest developments in this intriguing new chapter of Carlson’s life.

My Review: 5/5 Stars

It’s Matty’s turn! Our sweet teddy bear of a hockey player deserves a happy ending and he finally has one! Matty just wants to find love. He hates being lonely and despite having an ex who ended up being terrible to him and divorced him, it hasn’t stopped him from hoping one day he will find the one he is meant to be with. He is a protector and someone who just has so much love to give. But he never expects to find love the way he does. Matty thinks he should sell his big house. Though he loves it, he can’t stand being alone in it anymore. The times he was able to fill it with people, but lately those he has let stay and just party, he really doesn’t want to do that anymore. So it’s time to sell. But when he finds a crying Antoni in his driveway, he can’t help but coax him into his home to compose himself before getting back on the road. Turns out, his aunt thought he would be a good person to buy Matty’s home though he may have misunderstood how out of budget it was. And the reason Antoni needs a new house is because last spring, just a few months before, his best friends died and left their four children to him. And he’s been drowning ever since. He loves the kids and will do anything to protect them. But with the oldest being 14 and the youngest an infant. It’s a lot. Especially on a teacher salary. But he’ll protect the kids from their horrible grandparents who are trying to get custody from him. He won’t let it happen after hearing how they treat the kids. But how can he prove to the courts that he has this handled? Matty can’t stand by and do nothing. He offers for Antoni and the kids to move in. Crazy? A bit. But if you know Matty, offering something like this isn’t out of character. Not for a guy used to hosting friends and taking care of kids throughout the years. At first, Antoni is very resistant and for good reason! But after a while Antoni realizes that he may need to accept the help and finds himself taking Matty up on his offer. From there is a whirlwind of some chaos and the beginning of what really becomes a sweet love story between Matty and Antoni as they not only develop feelings for one another, but become a family to those kids. Really, really enjoyed their story! The kids were all just so sweet and I loved how Matty and Antoni went from strangers to friends to everything they have been looking for in a partner. One more story to go in this series and I can’t wait!
