My Review: 4/5 Stars
Charlotte feels like she is living a double life. The one she has to portray to her family, sorority, and just the public in general. The perfect daughter and student. But there is another part of Charlie. The one that likes to have fun and hook up and not be judged by what she likes. Though she never imagined she would swipe right on a hook up app to a profile that has not one but two guys. Could that be something she actually has the courage to experience? Beckett and Will became best friends in a short time. Meeting them in book one, where they were supposed to be rivals because their hockey teams merged was quickly discarded for them the moment they had a conversation and realized that they had a ton in common. Including a time travel obsession. And soon they found themselves doing hook ups together. They have this routine down and truly feel no jealously between them when they are with a girl. Though neither are prepared for Charlie. The girl they meet online is different than the girl they happen to meet on campus. And when they the three of them actually realize who they all are to one another? Well things get interesting. None of them are prepared for one another or the feelings that develop, but it may be the best thing that has ever happened to them. They also all have some person things going on as well. Charlie was adopted and is looking for her biological family and finds out some surprising things. Will is dealing with his political father who just seems to get worse and worse. And Beckett, well we learn more about his past and it makes us understand him a lot more!
I’ll admit it took me a minute to get into their story and I think it was mostly because of Charlie. I couldn’t wait for Will and Beckett since we knew these guys a bit. And getting to connect with her took me a bit. But once I hit a certain point, I could see how the three of them worked. My favorite parts are the ones where we get our cameos. The Dad Chat. Mike Hollis. Holy bananas I was dying. I love seeing our original guys making cameos now that their kids are at Briar. If you read the series that started off at Briar U, you will appreciate this book for so many of those hilarious moments. Overall, I really ended up enjoying this story! And as usual, I cannot wait for more!
