Fisher Cats Defenseman Rushed to Hospital After In-Game Fall—Mystery Beau Revealed? 

The Fisher Cats defenseman is conscious and in stable condition following a seizure that occurred during the recent game against Buffalo. 

Updates indicate that while still hospitalized, he’s hopeful for a quick return to the ice. 

The incident raises serious questions after referee August Manning was spotted in the same hospital shortly after Arents was admitted. 

Recent rumors have swirled around Arents’ involvement with someone within the league. Could Manning be the mystery man? 

A credible source claims the two are engaged. “He has been so doting! He’s barely left Nico’s side.” 

Tongues are wagging as their off-ice involvement throws Manning’s on-ice impartiality into question. 

How will the league react? Thus far, they have declined to comment but given the new Code of Conduct, there will be some tough questions to answer for these men to keep their romance and their careers.

Nico has been complaining about headaches for months and those he promises his friends and teammates he will get it checked out, he finds himself pushing it off. But waiting may not have been the best idea… When Nico gets hit with a seizure on the ice, everything changes. Being rushed to the hospital than surgery, it’s a lot. But waking up to a fiancé he doesn’t remember? Pretty crazy. August didn’t mean to get himself into this much trouble. He was already in trouble when he gave in to the chemistry between him and Nico and decided hooking up was a good idea. It wasn’t. Not when Nico is a NHL player and August is a ref. That’s a big no, no. He tried to forget it, but then Nico collapses on the ice he is reffing and he can’t stay away. He heads to the hospital and blurts he is Nico’s fiancé. And then things spiral from there when he is connected to being the mystery hook up of Nico’s. And now August finds his career on the line and Nico’s fake fiancé. But even with a career about to end, August can’t regret being there for Nico and helping him through it all. And the way Nico is reacting to August? Well, it’s safe to say he feels the same. They are messy and complicated but boy do I love these two! I love their banter and how Nico leaves to rile August up. And while Nico is recovering from something pretty traumatic, August is his rock. Nico never imagined settling down with someone. But August? Yeah, he could see it. And August? Well, he can’t believe the feelings he is having for Nico. But will they be able to have something real? Really loved this story! Just so good all around. This series and world have been great so far and I can’t wait for more!
