Easton has been breaking for a while now and everything just seems to get worse. His hockey teammate and former roommate showed his true colors and now threatens to destroy Easton. Easton’s grip on his captaincy on his college team is slipping through his fingers as he plays worse and just can’t seem to dig himself out of his spiral and worry that Kyle will expose his secrets and twist them so horribly. He has no one he can truly talk to or open up to. Not even his closest friends. Then the one person who always had power over him stands on his doorstep. Jace and Easton have a complicated history. Both of them were adopted into a family that showed how much they hated Jace and were glad the day came to get rid of him. And Easton’s biggest secret was how the second he was old enough to understand love and attraction was the moment he realized how he felt about Jace. Seven years later those feelings come back and he isn’t ready at all. But he won’t be able to resist for long. Jace has spent years trying to survive and now he finally has found Easton again. And he won’t give him up. He’ll protect him anyway he can and even though he knows he doesn’t deserve Easton, he won’t walk away either. Lot of darkness in this one for both our guys. They are dealing with some heavy stuff yet underneath all that, the connection between them is undeniable. They’ll fight for each other no matter what.
