Legacy of Gods Book 5 |
I’m not attracted to men.
Or so I thought before I slammed into Nikolai Sokolov.
A mafia heir, a notorious bastard, and a violent monster.
An ill-fated meeting puts me in his path.
And just like that, he has his sights set on me.
A quiet artist, a golden boy, and his enemy’s twin brother.
He doesn’t seem to care that the odds are stacked against us.
In fact, he sets out to break my steel-like control and blur my limits.
I thought my biggest worry was being noticed by Nikolai.
I’m learning the hard way that being wanted by this beautiful nightmare is much worse.

My Review: 5/5 Stars
I had a feeling this would be my favorite of the series (and yes I know I have another book left!), and I am so glad to be proven right! Brandon and Nikolai caught my attention immediately in this series and I could not wait until we got their book. Opposites in so many ways, yet they get one another. Nikolai is outgoing to the max. Unafraid to be himself. Chaotic, violent, just so himself in his skin. So when Brandon, quiet, artistic, nerdy, sweet, catches his attention and won’t turn away, he knows he is in trouble. First, Nikolai has to prove to Brandon that he feels this connection too. Because there is clearly something behind Brandon’s actions that tell him he feels something toward Nikolai. But when he finally succeeds, he is quick to learn there is so many more layers to Brandon. A hurt that haunts him and Nikolai can only hope that Brandon will trust him one day to tell him. Brandon has a lot of struggles but has perfected his mask and routine. But when chaotic Nikolai threatens it all? He doesn’t know what to do. But it doesn’t take him long to realize that he wants Nikolai and will hold on as long as he can. They have a lot of push and pull between them, but these two have something that is worth coming back for and fighting for. I love that even when it is hard, they learn to fight for one another. Absolutely adored them and their story! Definitely my favorite. And I can’t wait to catch more glimpses of them in the next book!
