Legacy of Gods Book 4: God of Ruin by Rina Kent

Legacy of Gods Book 4

I’m out for revenge.

After careful planning, I gave the man who messed with my family a taste of his own medicine.
I thought it’d end there.
It didn’t.
Landon King is a genius artist, a posh rich boy, and my worst nightmare.
He’s decided that I’m the new addition to his chess game.
Too bad for him, I’m no pawn.
If he hits, I hit back, twice as hard and with the same hostility.
He says he’ll ruin me.
Little does he know that ruination goes both ways.

My Review: 4/5 Stars

It’s hard to imagine how Landon of all characters would find someone. Though the moment we met Mia in a previous book and saw how she had no problem snapping back at him, it was clear that maybe he just met his match. Landon is chaos to the extreme. An artist who is never satisfied and always has to find a way to keep the beast inside of him happy. Never did he expect Mia to be the one help fill the emptiness inside him. She challenges him at every turn when they begin this game. And in return, Landon challenges Mia as well. Mia has been mute since an incident occurred when she was eight years old. The nightmares have yet to fade and she can’t find her voice no matter how hard she tries. What I really liked about these two is their dynamic. Mia never truly backs down from Landon. She is a badass who stands up for herself with him and even her overprotective family. And having Mia in his life makes Landon want to actually try harder when it comes to his lack of empathy. When he realizes just what she means to him, it reels him in a way that no one has ever been able to do. Despite their wildness, there is a balance in there. Another dark romance for sure, with plenty of twists in turns! Not gonna lie, I’ve been dying to get through these first four books so I can read the next one. Can’t wait to see how that story goes!
