My Review: 5/5 Stars
With the crazy end from the last book, I could not wait to grab my hands on this book. And it did not disappoint! The conclusion of Mische and Asar’s story has arrived and it was everything I hoped for. Spoilers if you haven’t read the previous book, so be warned! Mische’s sacrifice to save those she loved had a hight cost. Not only has the world be plunged into eternal night, but her life gone by the hands of the gods. But it isn’t over yet. With unexpected help she must find her way back to Asar. And when a goddess offers Asar is given a chance to find his way back to Mische, he will seize it, no questions asked. It is only a matter of time until these two reunite and once they do, their real mission begins. Asar must rise as the god of death but getting what he requires will be harder than anything they have done before. Such a satisfying conclusion to Mische and Asar’s story. These two went through so much and fought every step of the way. For those they care for and for one another above all. I loved getting to know them more and watching them find their way to who they are supposed to be. And while we have may get a conclusion to their story together, the story for the world overall is far from over. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing what happens next in this world.
