My Review: 5/5 Stars

So great to be in a new world from Jen L. Grey! Her shifter stories are always fun and I was really excited to meet new characters and a new world to go with them. This story follows Callie. She is in a wolf shifter pack and has never been able to shift into her wolf or link with her pack mates. Because of these inabilities she is constantly targeted by others in her pack for her “weakness”. And one night when her packmates decide to take things in a little too far, she is saved when other wolves from other packs are in the area. Turns out these guys are alphas and leaders of their wolf packs and advisers to the future king. One of those guys, Bodey, especially takes offense to the treatment Callie endures. And Callie can’t help but feel the connection between them. However, things aren’t that simple. After her bad injuries, Bodey takes her to his pack to rest. Him and his friends and family treat her better than even those who had taken her in. And she learns a lot more about the packs than what her currently alpha has ever taught her. Peace isn’t everywhere when it comes to all these wolf packs, but the hope for peace comes if they can make it to Samuel’s coronation. However it won’t be easy. I really loved this world that was set up! There is so much more to Callie’s story and we get bits of revelations in this story. I love her and Bodey too! They are a great couple you can’t help rooting for. And of course there is a bit of cliffhanger ending of this story that has me begging for more. We have a whole new world with a whole new set of rules and I cannot wait to see where this story goes.
