My Review: 5/5 Stars
Molly hasn’t had the best luck when it comes to love. He can’t understand why every date he goes on ends in disaster. Why can’t he find the right guy? He leaves home searching for a fresh start and he still finds himself alone. At least this time he has a house full of quirky roommates to be there for him. And one in particular to give him some raw honesty and tell him maybe he is part of the problem with not finding dates. He even goes as far as to offer some help. Seven doesn’t believe he’ll find anyone willing to taking the baggage that is his life. He hasn’t had an easy time of it. And if that wasn’t enough, no one understands the relationship between him and his best friend and foster brother, Xander. They are most definitely platonic, but Xander relies on Seven a lot. And no one believes they are anything but just friends and that they are forever in one another’s lives. Except Molly. Molly gets it right from the beginning and witnessing when Xander’s anxiety hits him. And Molly knows that there is no one better than for someone like Seven to have your back. And that goes as far as helping Molly with his dating life. But as each new fake date happens and these two spend more time together, it’s hard to not blur lines. Even if remind themselves they can never be more. Too bad for them, feelings don’t work that way. And maybe the thing you’ve been looking for is right in front of you. I adored Molly and Seven! They had such a fun and great dynamic. And they were such opposites yet worked so well together. They balanced one another so well and you can’t help but laugh at their banter. (I also loved the bit of crossover since Molly first appeared in Divorced Men’s Club series and his dad and best friend are getting a book in that series next.) Definitely looking forward to the next book in this series! Can’t wait to find out who’s turn it is to fall in love next1!
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
