My Review: 5/5 Stars

So after reading the Fake Boyfriend series and getting Jet and Soren's book, I had to admit that I was super curious about Harley when I learned he had his own book. I wasn't a big fan of him in Jet's book, but you could tell there was a bit more to him than some of the stunts he pulled. But it's been probably close to two years later since that book, and it definitely shows that Harley has realized a lot about himself after his heart break. So this story starts off with Harley in a really scary situation when a fan breaks into his home. It finally pushes him to do the one thing he didn't want. Get a bodyguard. His safe haven is no longer safe and he finally admits he needs protection. That brings Brix. Brix isn't looking forward to his new assignment. It's basically babysitting for a pop start he has never heard of (which everyone will tease him mercilessly for) and nothing close to his normal missions for team. However, the money is too good to pass and he needs it desperately. So he takes the job. And neither are prepared the connection and chemistry that sparks between them. As they try and fight this attraction, because boss and employee situations are typically a no no, it won't take them long to realize that what they have good lead to something worth taking the risk. But that's not all that's going on. Harley's stalker is still out there and it's only a matter of time before he makes his next move. I really enjoyed this story! Like I said earlier, I wasn't sure how I was gonna feel about Harley, but seeing him at a later part of his break up with Jet and finding someone who fits him a lot better, was a treat. We see a lot more to Harley than we have through others' points of view. I'm looking forward to the rest of this series and the spin off that comes with other members of Brix's team.
