Ruthless Boys of the Zodiac Book 4: Broken Fae by Caroline Peckham & Susanne Valenti

Broken Fae (Ruthless Boys of the Zodiac, #4)
Ruthless Boys of the Zodiac Book 4

Me and my kings have come as close to breaking as I ever could have feared.

Just as we were finding a way to get past our difficulties, the stars have torn us apart. Can I fight against the will of the heavens or does fate have something unforeseen in store for me now?

While we'e reeling from the wheel of fate and trying to find a way to move on with our lives, our enemies are only growing more powerful.

Felix Oscura is haunting Alestria with his bloodthirsy need to steal the power of the clan he was never destined to rule over. And the illusive King is growing closer to their goal of taking control of the entire city and maybe even beyond.

With challenges around every corner and the mysteries behind my brother's death slowly starting to unravel, will I be able to piece everything together and find a way to overcome the will of the stars before it’s too late?

My Review: 5/5 Stars

After that crazy ending of the last book that broke many hearts, it was nice to see that no one was giving up any fights. Not if Elise and Leon had anything to say about. Leon knows Elise wouldn't be truly happy without having Dante, Ryder, and Gabriel in their lives, so he will do whatever it takes to show them that they all belong together. And if you know Leon, he won't stop until his goal is achieved. Their relationship statuses may be pretty complicated at the start but with the right nudges they will fight for what they want. Meanwhile, the Dante's uncle Felix is causing more havoc in Alestria as he tries to hurt Dante and his family and attack the Lunar Brotherhood more. And he has teamed up with King. The one Elise and crew have been searching for as they continue to look for answers about Gareth and stop King once and for all. Loved this story! So much happened in this one. So many truths are revealed and once again for every question about Gareth that we get answered another question pops up. Plus, I had read Zodiac Academy before reading this (and greatly wish I didn't because now I want to re-read those so I piece things together better), but things I saw from that series I'm starting to understand and see how they came to be. Plus, hints of the Darkmore series as well. There is just so much to this world. I also loved how hilarious this one was and how we got to know our characters better. Plus! All the bonding between the guys (a lot thanks to Leon)! But Ryder and Gabriel's friendship is fantastic. Leon going around convinced that these guys are all gonna be his new best friends. And even Dante and Ryder learning truths about one another that may finally get them on the path for peace between their gangs. Also Gabriel is starting to get a way better grasp of his Sight and gaining those he can finally call friends. But to keep the good going they have to get through the bad that was that cliffhanger ending! What a way to end. And I will be picking up the last one for this group as soon as possible. Time to get some answers and see how it all comes together in the end.
