Oskar has finally found himself in trouble that won't easily be overlooked by those in PR. As head of the San Jose's PR department, Lance decides enough is enough. No one can seem to get through to Oskar to behave when he is outside of the hockey arena, so he has no choice but to do the job himself. And that means doing whatever it takes. Moving in to the guest room at Oskar's house, trailing him like a babysitter watches a child, and making sure Oskar makes the right decision. Oskar doesn't care for babysitting act. They want to treat him as a teenager, then he'll act the part. As he pushes Lance's buttons, he wonders if Lance truly as a will of steel. Little does he know that it is taking everything in Lance not to follow through on the attraction that has sparked between them. It's only a matter of time until they stop fighting one another and actually act on the feelings that are starting to form. Oskar and Lance are such a fun pair. They challenge one another in so many ways. And what is so great about Lance when it comes to Oskar is that he can see the mask Oskar has donned for himself and knows that beneath it is an actual good guy. He wants everyone to see what he sees when he looks at Oskar. And he wants Oskar to believe that he can be himself. The two of them come to realize that both will do anything for the other. They'll put the other first. Something that has never happened for either of them. Another great story in this series and I'm looking forward to the next one!

Tripp has been in love with his best friend for a very long time. But he can't exactly tell his very straight best friend that, now can he? Instead, he pines from afar knowing he rather have Dex in his life than tell him how he really feels. But Tripp is put in what is probably the worst situation when Dex has a terrible idea. Dex's version of practicing getting over his commitment issues is to go to a wedding chapel and marry Tripp. They figure as long as they don't file the paperwork, it won't be real. At least that was the plan. But when the marriage goes through and word gets around, they are in a no win situation. They'll have to pretend to be married for real to avoid a PR nightmare. Shouldn't be too hard right? The two of them are best friends and those who don't know them may even assume they are together. But not that they are put in this married life, they begin to realize that perhaps marriage isn't so bad. Not if it is with the right person. So Dex has believed he has always been straight. He doesn't do well with subtle, he needs things spelled out for him. He never even noticed his best friend was in love with him. He doesn't even know that some of these feelings he has for Tripp may be way beyond friendship. Because for Dex, Tripp is everything. Dex gets a chance to explore a side of him that may have always been there but he never really noticed before. As for Tripp, he knows that he'll probably get hurt in the end but he'll take Dex in any form. He loves him and having him in his life is everything to him. As the two explore their relationship, they'll discover new things about themselves and each other. Another great story! It was nice to see Dex finally wake up and realize just how much Tripp meant to him and for Tripp to finally be the man he loves. Looking forward to the next story!

An enemies to lovers story that has all the best aspects of that trope. We got the undeniable chemistry and the witty banter that keeps you laughing. Ezra and Anton are such a great pairing and highly entertaining. Ezra is nonstop and doesn't know how to stop talking. He's flirty and loquacious and isn't afraid to be himself. Oh, and has the biggest ego of any hockey player you meet. Anton can be more on the quiet side. However, Ezra riles him up to the point where quiet takes a backseat. He can keep up with Ezra without even trying and brings Ezra ego back down to earth while also dishing out his own. Couldn't get enough of these two. What starts out as a one night stand turns into more when Anton is traded to Ezra's team. The two of them form a relationship though neither will admit that the arrangement they have is exactly that. As they juggle to keep their relationship secret since Anton is out but not to the point where he has it broadcasted to the world in fear that it will overshadow his hockey, they also have to work hard on and off the ice to  get that championship win. Really fun story as they two juggle their feelings and get that W. I also realized that characters we met showed up in a series released before this, so I gotta back try after I finish up this series. Especially when I saw who's book is next. Lots of great characters and I'm looking forward to exploring this world!

The youngest and last Madigan brother's story! Crew has finally and reluctantly returned home to Madigan Mountain after years of avoiding. He returns for his brother's wedding and he can't wait to leave again. He doesn't plan to stick around but circumstances change that a bit. But the most important one? Raven. The girl he had a crush on in high school and the sister of his best friend from back then. Too bad she never gave him the time of day. Until now. Raven isn't willing to risk another athlete breaking her heart. But surely one night with Crew would be okay? But what happens when he keeps sticking around and one night turns to many? It's becoming a bit harder to keep her heart out of it. Crew and Raven have undeniable chemistry but both are still worried about the future. Crew doesn't want to move back home... does he? And Raven can stop seeing Crew... right? Lots of ups and down for these two, but a great story nonetheless as the two of them find home and love together. A great conclusion to this series!

This series is turning out pretty great! Book two follows the middle Madigan brother, Weston, when he returns home to start a business for a new heli-skiing operation. Weston isn't exactly happy to be home since he left many years ago. He is still angry with his father and even his older brother, Reed. But he gives in when Reed tells him he needs him and the business he is starting is one that he can't help but kinda love. What he doesn't expect is a miscommunication to land him in the home of Callie and her ten-year-old daughter, Sutton. The same Callie that he helped days before he left to get a job as the resort's photographer. Callie has never forgotten Weston. He found her on one of her worst days. Broken down car, rainy day, and 3 months pregnant after the boss didn't show up for her interview. But Weston hires her and gives her a chance. She has spent these last ten years making a home and a life for her daughter. But sharing a space with him wasn't on the agenda. Neither was the list of rules or falling for him. As they find a way to live together, they can't shake the chemistry between them. But while Callie gives her whole heart in everything, Weston has learned to close his heart long ago. I really loved this story! Callie and Weston were great characters and a fantastic couple. This book had a lot of surprises on how I thought things would play out and I loved that. Really liking this series and I can't wait for the next one!

I love diving back into the Guild Hunter world and this one was just another great addition to the series! We follow the epic love story of Archangels, Alexander and Zanaya. Taking us back eons to when they were young and when they first met. We follow their lives as the centuries pass them by and watch the highs and lows of their relationship. A powerful and passionate love, but two angels stubborn in their own rights as they both find their way in the world. When they meet, the years between them are significant. And an imbalance when Alexander becomes an archangel. But the connection between them is instant and undeniable. Yet, patience must guide them in order to truly come together. We get many glimpses of their lives. We see younger versions of those older archangels and ancients and learn of new faces. Their story leads us to the Cascade and Zanaya's injury that forces her to Sleep once more. And then a surprising time jump. Not too bad when I think about it, but still leaves me curious to what could have happened. And when Zanaya rises, she feels something the archangel of death may have left behind. I read this story in a day. I couldn't put it down. It was so interesting to see Alexander's life and the bits and pieces that were mentioned in previous books, now we get more moments of that story. Like Alexander's brother, Osiris and how he changes and how that eventually leads to the creation of a certain chimera we know and love. This book had so much of the past to fill in those blanks of older beings while also giving us a new glimpse of the future about those we have come to love in this series. Such a great series and I cannot wait for the next book!
