Hot Streak by Beth Bolden

Young phenom pitcher Connor Clark doesn't want or need help anyone's help making it to the majors.

He's got a hot arm, and an even hotter temper.

So when his minor league team brings in seasoned catcher Jackson Evans to "handle" him, the two clash instantly.

But as the two battle for power, anger gives way to lust, and an awakening Connor didn't see coming.

If Jackson wants to be 'hands on,' they might as well enjoy it. But once again, the man makes Connor work for it. Just like he does on the field.

Only this time, the reward is so much sweeter. When Connor gives in to Jackson's coaching, and Jackson gives in to his attraction, they're instantly on a hot streak—on the field and in bed.

So hot that Connor finally gets that call to the majors he's always wanted.

But what's a pitcher to do without the catcher who owns his heart? Now all Connor needs is to convince Jackson they belong to each other forever, not just on a baseball diamond.

My Review: 5/5 Stars

All Connor wants is to make it from the minor team to majors. He knows he is a great pitcher and he has what it takes. But despite his skills, he tends to get in his own way when his brain won’t turn off. He overthinks and underthinks and soon ignoring his catcher. But that’s about to change. When his team brings in Jackson to help temper Connor, Jackson isn’t going to roll over and take the attitude and ego from Connor. Nope. They’ll clash and clash until the attraction between them ignites to a point where there is no turning back. For Jackson, he has been burned in the past from being out in the league. And even if he finds Connor attractive and begins to see the real him under the ego, he knows he has to stay in control. For Connor, it’s a slow build up. A not understanding what he is feeling until suddenly it is so obvious. And he has never wanted anyone the way he has wanted Jackson. But convincing Jackson that his feelings are real and that coming out won’t hurt his career? A whole other ball game. But one he is determined to win. Because he is not letting Jackson go. Not a chance. I loved these two! I love their banter on and off the field. They have such great chemistry and you will be rooting for them the whole time! Another great book from this author!

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
