Crimson Club Book 5: Dad Next Door by Willow Dixon

Crimson Club Book 5

Moving into my first house is step one in starting my new life. Next is setting up my contracting business. I’m so focused on my future that a relationship is the last thing on my mind.

Then I meet Tristan, the single dad next door. He might be my total opposite, but we click in a way I’ve never experienced, and he quickly becomes one of my closest friends.

After attending a wedding as his fake date to make his ex, and his ex’s new boyfriend, jealous, I can’t deny that things between us have changed. I always thought I was straight, but being with Tristan doesn’t just feel good, it feels right.

Having a fling with my neighbor might be a recipe for disaster, but it could also be exactly what we both need to finally move on from our pasts.

Quinn and Tristan’s story is a friends-to-lovers, bi-awakening romance between a retired porn model who just moved into his first home, and a single dad trying to navigate life after divorce. Expect a fake relationship, an age gap, found family, all the feels, lots of spice, and tons of heat as these neighbors find out that sometimes opposites really do attract. It is the fifth novel in the exciting new Crimson Club series but can be read as a standalone.

My Review: 5/5 Stars

It’s Quinn’s turn! Quinn has been making a lot of new changes in his life. He’s starting a contracting business and even bought a house with all the money he has earned over the years with his entertainment content. Life is pretty good. But it is about to get better. When he hears a call for help from his neighbor, he races over and helps a kid and his aunt find their missing cat. Later, the kid’s dad comes to thank him and Quinn is surprised to find a connection between them. As Tristan and Quinn spend time together and build up a friendship, it isn’t long until things start to change. For Tristan, he is still dealing with the aftermath of a rough marriage and divorce. His husband was emotionally abusive and after many years together, he finally left for another man. Tristan is glad to be free of his ex, but his ex still tends to bully him through their child. Still, Tristan does what he can. He just never expects for Quinn to come into his life and actually like him for him and treat him like an actual friend. It’s so sweet how these two become best friends and then take a leap into turning it to something more. Especially for Quinn who is learning more about himself and his sexuality. He never expected to be attracted to a man but he knows he definitely is when it comes to Tristan. These two are just really sweet and their romance is so wholesome. You’ll be rooting for them right from the start! And of course it’s nice to get cameos from favorite characters in the series. This series is just so good and I can’t wait for more!

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
