My Review: 5/5 Stars

The days of Selene’s magic eating her memories are gone. She now remembers everything. Including her past life. A life that included one with Memnon. The man she thought was her enemy, but instead was her great love. One she had fought with everything she had with to get another chance with him. But that was her past life. Her current life is still angry with him and she is nowhere near ready to forgive and forget. But with her memories returned she can at least clear the air on what happened so long ago. In doing so, Memnon learns the truth. And when it comes to everything he has done since he woke up, well he feels great remorse. So he will do whatever it takes to prove to Selene he is serious when it comes to making it up to her. To get her to fall in love with him once more. Throw in lots of magic and the fact that they still have to solve the murders occurring around them, and whoever is after Selene next? Well things are complicated to say the least. Really enjoyed this one! Lots of twists and turns and ups and downs when it comes to Selene and Memnon and the mystery itself. The journey is pretty rough for these but together, they may stand a chance at rebuilding what they lost. Though with that bit of loop for an ending. Afraid happily ever after may be postponed just a bit longer. It’s everything you would expect from a Laura Thalassa book and I can’t wait for the next one!
