Dakota has been on the run for a little while now from his past. He’s been scared and alone and is just looking for some safety. He follows his magic to Oro Escondido where he finally gets a break. He gets a job at a local bookstore and finally has a place to rest. Then he meets Logan. An alpha that draws him in and vice versa. And though Dakota is scared he might have to run again, part of him hopes that maybe he can stay and be happy here. Logan knows Dakota is his mate. He can feel it. He wants to win Dakota’s heart and make him feel safe. Filled with dragons and other magical creatures and just magic in general, this New Mexico town is more than meets the eye. Dakota and Logan are very sweet as they learn to trust one another and open their hearts to one another as well. But what happens when Dakota’s past finally catches up with him? A very cute, sweet story filled with all the magic!
