My Review: 5/5 Stars

As per usual after finishing a book in this series I am freaking out and in desperate need of the next one. Because WOW! This was sooo amazing! Which I had no doubt it was going to be but oh man, just when you think you know or figured something out… BAM! Surprise! Here come the plot twists and crazy reveals. So this story picks up where the last one immediately left off. (So do not read this review unless you are caught up! I won’t be spoiling for this book but anything before this is fair game.) And if we all remember what happened with that crazy cliffhanger, well things take a pretty huge turn. Sera and Ash are in pretty deep trouble. The only thing keeping one another alive is Sera’s determination to keep Kolis believing what he so desperately wants. That his long lost love, Sotoria, has returned. Sera finds her playing a very dangerous game while in the hands of Kolis. The only thing keeping her going is seeing her marriage imprint and knowing Ash is alive. And that if they can pull this off, they will be together again. Though with the signs of her Ascension becoming more frequent, she knows she may not have much time with him but she’ll take whatever she can get. 

And even still, it’s a game of survival for her. But with it comes a lot of revelations. Everything you think you know is about to change. A bunch of questions you had are about to be answered. I was blown away with some of these reveals and I’m going to have to reread all the books soon to see if I can find some hints of these revelations earlier because WOW. And there was just so much more to this world to learn about. Just when you think you got all the information, we are hit with even more. And I love that. 

As you can tell, I absolutely loved this book. I couldn’t put it down and the ending for once actually left me content enough to be patient for the next one. So I will take that over a brutal cliffhanger. On top of these crazy reveals, I also of course loved anything with Sera and Ash and their relationship growing more and more. Those two have been through a lot and seeing them come so far at this point in the series is just really wonderful. Be prepared for yet another page turner, unforgettable romance, adventure, danger, magic, and just about anything else you have come to expect from this world. You won’t be disappointed.
