Crave Series Book 6: Cherish by Tracy Wolff

Crave Book 6

The sensational conclusion to the massive #1 New York Times bestselling series…

It’s been over three months since my friends and I took down Cyrus. Three months where my biggest fear was what paper was due next... But I should have known it was too good to last. Now everything is falling apart.

The Vampire Court has no king, the Dragon Court has no heart, and the Gargoyle Court has me—a teenager in way over her head. And it’s the worst possible timing, because a threat is brewing just as the Circle is collapsing.

I have no choice but to return to the Shadow Realm and face the terrifying queen who nearly ended us…and make a deal with her to save Mekhi. But this time, I’m bringing my powerful friends with me—and Hudson. Except something is wrong with him, too. He’s keeping a secret—even from me.

All I know is that everyone’s life hangs in the balance. And it’s my fault—because I still owe the Crone a favor...and now she’s come to collect.

My Review: 5/5 Stars

Cherish has finally arrived and like all of these books, I devoured it in such a short time. Despite the fact that these books are always so long. But they are always great! Another action packed book, it is never a dull time for these characters. In this latest book, Grace just received her memories of her missing time and just in time too since her missing time is revealed to have taken place in the Shadow Realm. Exactly where her and her friends need to go in order to save their friend Mekhi. But the journey won't be easy. And if that isn't enough, the other courts each have their own problems too. And the Crone is getting ready to tear them all down. Like I said before, never a dull time. So much has happened to these guys and I was very much looking forward for them to get some happy endings. I really loved this story from the series because we could see how far Grace has come. She has grown so much from the girl we met in book one. And it was nice to see how her character has developed. One thing I will say that I wish we had with these books was more point of view chapters throughout the story and not just as bonus chapters in the back. I felt like there is so much going on with other characters like Jaxon, Flint, and Macy especially. And I would have loved to gotten in their heads to see what exactly what was going on with them. Honestly, they could all use their own books and stories. I'm glad we'll be getting a Remy book next because after everything that went down in this book with him, definitely want to catch up with him. But overall, I really loved this book and thought it was a great way to end Grace's story and this chapter in all of the characters' lives. As usual this story was action packed, lots of romance, adventure, and plenty of magic and supernatural going on. And don't forget the many twists and turns along the way! I couldn't put the story down. You don't want to miss this one from this world!

Indigo Falls College Book 1: Always by Loren Leigh

Indigo Falls College Book 1

I avoid him.

Every time Kepler Quinn steps into a room, I get the hell out.

He does . . . something to me. When those discerning gray eyes flick towards me, his brow rising in a silent greeting, there’s a tightening of my abs. A zapping hum quivering low along my spine.

There are about a million reasons it shouldn’t be what the little voice in the back of my head insists . . . a crush.

Because Kepler isn’t just some random guy. He’s my brother’s best friend. He’s also my TA for physics this semester. And also . . . a guy. I’ve never held strongly onto being straight, but I’ve also never had this sun-scorching need for another guy before.

But I can’t avoid him when we’re suddenly in the back stacks of the library—alone—nothing but the smell of old books and softly falling dust around us. And instead of walking away from him, I let out the two words that burn in my throat:

“Kiss me."

Always is a swoony M/M college romance with a bisexual awakening and sizzling chemistry. It’s the first in the Indigo Falls College series, a standalone, and features a happy ending.

My Review: 4/5 Stars

Jae Jin has always had this pull towards his brother's best friend, Kepler Quinn. And he's hit a point where his best strategy is to avoid. But what happens when Kepler finally gets Jae to stop running? Jae will finally come to realize that this pull toward Kepler, this crush could be everything. Too bad things are complicated enough around here. Jae is working hard to finish college, keeping his mom from falling off the edge as she deals with her addictions, and trying to be there for his friends. And then Kepler ends up being his TA in his physics class. Bad idea. How can he hope to focus on class with Kepler in the room? These two have a connection like any other. And when they finally give in to it and see where it leads them? It's everything. Really enjoyed this story and these set of characters. The book was in Jae's point of view and his way of thinking was so different than any other. I was just intrigued a lot by being in his head and seeing how his mind worked. Him and Kepler were such a great couple and I hope to see them again in future books of this series!

Unlucky 13 Book 1: Broken by Andi Jaxon

Unlucky 13 Book 1

Welcome to Black Diamond Resort and Spa… After years of drowning myself in parties, hook ups, and pain, all it takes is one viral sex tape to get me thrown on a remote island to disappear for a while. That or lose my trust fund. Having to share a room with the one man I let hurt me is my worst nightmare. I’m the broken shell of the boy he walked away from on the single worst day of my life. I hate him almost as much as I hate myself. This island was supposed to be a place I could rest but instead I’m running. From Asher Vaughn. From myself. From the scars on my heart that never healed. It hurts to look at him and see all the things we never got to have. But how am I supposed to keep him at arm's length when he watches me the way he used too? When he touches me? When he calls me his? We can’t be together, not off this island. The straight football star and the gay femme son of famous parents. The media would rip us apart and ruin his career. I barely survived the last time he left me, can I live through being deserted again? Broken is a brother’s best friend, mm romance with some praise kink, and a broken boy in desperate need of love. This story has triggers which you can find on my website.

My Review: 5/5 Stars

The first book of this new series and wow! It was quite a doozy. Trigger warnings are a big one in this. I’ll admit some of it was tough to read about. But Andi Jaxon handled it so well. These characters have been through a lot and are still dealing with so much. Prepare for all the feelings as you read Elliot Asher’s story. Right off the bat with that first chapter, things are rough. One day and one moment changes everything for Eli and Asher’s future. The love they had for one another was so strong, but things were complicated and then something happens that changes their lives forever. Now, fast forward six years. They haven’t seen one another in a long time. Eli has been spiraling and in pain for a long time. And the person he needed most was gone. Asher tried to move past the horrible things that happened and make a career for himself in football, but things aren’t perfect. And when the two of them run into one another, things don’t exactly go well. And following that, both are put in bad situations and they are shipped to Black Diamond to regroup. And as fate would have it, they are there together… and in the room. Truths will be revealed, a push and pull of hurting and healing will occur. And maybe, just maybe, these two can figure out that making the jump to be together will be the worth the risk. Lots of ups and downs, twists and turns. If you know Andi Jaxon’s books then I think you know what to expect with her stories. Her characters will tug at your heartstrings and you will be cheering for them the whole way through. Great start to this series and I’m looking forward to the rest of the books and other authors participating!

Rules We Break Book 1: Don’t Date a DILF by DJ Jamison

Rules We Break Book 1

I have one rule to live by: Don't Date a DILF.

I've seen the consequences of blurring the boundaries between teaching life and dating life, and I'm not about to take that kind of risk.

But I didn't count on Hunter Rhodes walking into my school. Never expected that the broad-shouldered, stubble-jawed, absolute glory of a man would be such a sweet and caring father. Or that as a seemingly straight man, he might decide he wants me.

If my Nana has her way...I'll be in love with someone by the end of the school year, but there's only one man who tempts me.
With her matchmaking in overdrive and half the single women in Granville setting their sights on Hunter, faking a relationship could give us both a reprieve.

It might be fun and games for Hunter, but separating pretend feelings from real won't be so simple for me. And then there's that rule...

Can I date a DILF without disaster--or will all my fears come true?

Don't Date a DILF is Book 1 of Rules We Break, a spin-off series from Games We Play, set in the small, quirky town of Granville, where nosy residents meddle in one another's lives, great friendships are made, and silly innuendos are a way of life.

My Review: 4/5 Stars

This has been a fun world from DJ Jamison. A spin off from her Never Have I Ever series, this follows Kevin’s brother, Hunter. Hunter has returned home, divorced, and a single parent to his son, Toby. Though his marriage has been over a while now, he is still finding a way to navigate his new life as a single dad. And trying to convince his young son that he is not getting back together with his ex-wife. It also doesn’t help that everyone is town is either flirting, asking bout his single life, or trying to set him up. He needs a plan and quick. Turns out he isn’t the only one being harassed by loved ones. Clark has been trying to avoid his nana’s set ups for a while, but finds himself cornered. Sure, he wants to find the love of his life, but it doesn’t help that his set ups aren’t exactly the best. Oh, and his itty bitty crush on Hunter. Too bad for Clark that Hunter is straight… or is he? When their paths finally cross through Hunter’s son Toby, Clark is a teacher and Toby has been enrolled in Clark’s after school program, they’ll find themselves getting to know one another. That’s when an idea sparks! They’ll pretend to date to get everyone off their backs and gain a little breathing room. So what could go wrong? Well, I’m sure you can guess, feelings to start to happen. Surprising both of them in different ways. This was a really fun story! Clark and Hunter were so cute. Hunter is slowly discovering more about himself and Clark is helping him realize a lot about himself too. And it doesn’t scare him. He just knows that being with Clark is the happiest he has ever been. And what can be so bad about that? Clark fears dating a parent of one of his students could end badly, but he can’t help but take a chance on Hunter. This book was a lot of fun! Had been laughing and the chemistry between these two were great! And I have to say we got quite an ending and I cannot wait for the book! Sounds like we got an interesting story coming along!

Good As Gold by Sarina Bowen

A swoony, heart-wrenching small-town romance .

Leila:
What I meant to do: Quietly divorce my lout of a husband and then have a child all on my own.
What happens instead: My crush comes back to town when I’m at my most vulnerable. After too many cocktails, I ask him to be my baby’s father.
In my defense, it’s been a rough couple of months. Seeing Matteo Rossi again after fourteen years has done a number on my emotions. And my libido.
In the morning, I’m hoping he’s forgotten the whole thing. But no such luck. In fact, Matteo has a few clarifying questions. And a few naughty ideas, too…

Matteo:
What I meant to do: visit Vermont for my brother’s wedding. Make amends to my family, and mourn the loss of a friend.
What happens instead: a hot affair with the one who got away. But it can’t last. My life is two thousand miles away, and Leila deserves everything. She’s as good as gold.

My Review: 5/5 Stars

Sarina Bowen is an author I know I will love anything she writes. I was in a little reading slump and was even stalling a bit with this one despite knowing I would love this book. I mean we all have those moods right? But the second I let myself focus and start, I was hooked. Also helps when this is connected to her True North books because Matteo is a Rossi brother! So this story follow Matteo and Leila. They were best friends when they were younger along with their other friend Rory. Tight as thieves and Matteo had feelings for Leila, but agreed with Rory that neither could make a move or else ruin all their friendships. So he kept it to himself and right after high school he left Vermont to figure out what to do with his life. However, a lot can happen when you leave. Leila ends up with Rory and Matteo stays away. But now it is much later and even more has changed. For Leila, she is newly divorced and determined to do one thing she has always wanted: have a baby. And she’ll do it on her own if she has to. For Matteo, he returns for his brother’s wedding in need of spending time with his family. He knows he has been gone a long time and after losing his best friend in a tragic accident, he knows how precious time could be. And he comes home to discover that the girl he loved is single and may even forgive him for being gone so long. And turns out Leila has some feelings for him too. But as she shares her plans of wanting a baby, she blurts out the idea of Matteo being the father. And weirdly to her, he may just agree. Time for these two to have their second, yet maybe first, chance at love. Loved this story! Leila and Matteo are such a great pair. And it’s always a blast to have the Rossi clan make an appearance. I love that no matter what familiar tropes we may see from Sarina, she always has a new way to twist them and make them different. We’ve got great characters and a strong storyline. And! There is another book coming from this series and I’m super excited!

Never Have I Ever Book 4: Never Have I Ever Wanted My Brother’s Rival by Willow Dixon

Never Have I Ever Book 4

“Why is the one person I hate the only guy I can’t stop thinking about?”

West, my older brother’s high school rival. The rich kid who has it all. The guy who disappeared six years ago and destroyed my brother’s life.

I thought West and I were friends. I trusted him, but he showed me I was nothing more to him than a means to an end.

Being twenty and in my last year of college isn’t easy. Neither is being a virgin. I’ve never been normal or felt like I fit in, and I don’t feel what I’m supposed to.

My online job has given me the perfect way to solve my virginity problem, but then the last person I ever wanted to see again shows up on my doorstep. Not only has West learned what I do for a living, he’s essentially my landlord.

I hate him. So why can’t I stay away from him? Why is he the only person I’ve ever felt a connection with, who makes me feel like there’s something in me worth wanting?

Eli and West’s story is an enemies-to-friends-to-lovers romance between a former bad boy who seemingly has it all and an awkward genius who’s never felt like he fits in. Expect lots of banter and hot first times as these two try (and fail) to stay away from each other. It is the fourth novel in the steamy Never Have I Ever series but can be read as a standalone.

********

My Review: 4/5 Stars

It’s finally Eli’s turn! So glad that when I found this series, Eli’s book wasn’t too far away from coming out. I’ve liked who I had seen of Eli so far in this series and couldn’t wait to learn more. Especially since we’ve only gotten pieces of him in each book to get to know him more and I loved how the rest of the guys really took him under their wing and thought of him as their little brother. Now it’s finally his book and it was great! The house Eli and the guys share hasn’t been great recently. And when the water heater goes out they call management. But Eli is shocked to find that the new guy is none other than his brother’s rival from high school, West. Eli hasn’t seen West since the big blow out that threw his brother’s future off course and West disappeared. So he’s none too happy to see West. Yet, he can’t seem to hate him completely either. Not when West had always proved to be a great guy up until he left town. It may be time Eli finally gets the other side of the story. West has been gone a while and he has returned home. He has been controlled by his father since the incident in high school and starts to realize that he missed some important things while he was gone. And when he sees Eli again, he finds he can’t stay away. Then when a storm hits and West offers Eli to stay with him, things are about to change for the both of them. Loved their story! West and Eli were a great pair together. West totally gets everything about Eli and loves everything about him. He understands him in ways no one else really does and Eli realizes just how much he can be himself around him. And for West, he loves to be around Eli and loves that their relationship is so much more balanced than his past ones. He’s been lonely and never truly finding someone who is his equal. They make each other better. Plus you gotta love the other guys make appearances in the story and giving their two cents. This was such a fun series! I’m sad it’s over but I’m looking forward to the spin off that starts with Eli’s brother, Gray!

IFU Hockey Book 1: Let's Do This by Loren Leigh

IFU Hockey Book 1

Shaw

Ever since we met two years ago, Eden Burkehammer has made everything better.

The big defenseman sets me at ease. He’s a beast on the ice—brutal and physical—but when it’s the two of us, he turns to me with these unexpectedly soft brown eyes. This gravelly laugh that makes my whole body smile. And yeah, I might have thrown a glance his way a time or two in the steamed-up locker room showers—you know, just curious.

But he’s my best friend. My teammate. Roommate.

I don’t want to mess with that. Just the thought of losing him sends a cold zap the full length of my spine. Besides, I’ve never gone there with a guy, and he’s never given a single hint he has either.

Until one morning when I sign for his delivery. An envelope that contains something I never—in my life—would have guessed.

And, suddenly, I’m thinking about him in a whole new way.

Burk

I can’t look at Shaw Keenan for too long. When he leans across my truck console, with that whip-quick smile, I get this catch in my throat and focus on the road. Or when he tips his goalie mask up onto his head, hair askew and a flush of adrenaline on his cheeks, I skate back toward the blue line.

I don’t know why. My head’s confused about a lot of stuff. Always has been. But what I do know is that I’ve never thought about anyone the way I think about him.

Especially when he steps through my doorway—in nothing but a pair of thin running shorts and that backwards pink ballcap he always wears—holding a package I ordered on a whim.

And he’s looking at me in a way he never has before.

It’s game over after that.

Let’s Do This is a steamy, low-angst, friends-to-lovers college hockey m/m romance with double first times, a flirty goalie, and a gruff defenseman willing to risk it all for a chance with his best friend. It’s a spin-off from Indigo Falls College Series and a standalone.

My Review: 4/5 Stars

It's take one moment for everything to change between Shaw and Burk. One moment to realize that this friendship they have has the sudden potential to be so much more. And when they look closer, they even realize maybe they were more than friends all along but now they actually realize it and do something about it. Shaw and Burk have been best friends and playing college hockey together for the last few years. But when they have this moment that starts with Shaw picking up a package for Burk, well things change. Suddenly they find themselves wanting to be more than just friends and learn a lot more about who they are when they are together. There will be plenty of flirting, hockey, hooking up, falling in love, learning who they are, and so much more together. You'll be rooting for these two the whole way through for them to figure it all out and go for the future they both really want.

Step Bully by Willow Dixon

Of all the people in the world, I had to be attracted to the one person I hate…

Ash Summers is the most beautiful guy I’ve ever seen. He’s also a total d*ck, and I hate him more than anything. That feeling is mutual, by the way, as he does nothing but torment me.

Oh, and did I mention he’s my stepbrother?

Messing with Ash is all fun and games until our parents force us to room together during our final year at college. Sharing an apartment with him only makes me hate him more.

Until it doesn’t. When Ash touches me, it’s impossible to remember why I dislike him so much. All I can think of is that I need him to do it again…and again.

Every encounter with Ash teaches me a little about myself and my true desires, but it also leaves an emptiness inside me that I don’t understand.

Am I the only one feeling things? Or is my big, bad stepbrother just as desperate for a connection as I am?

Step Bully is an enemies-to-lovers MM romance between stepbrothers who discover that the line between hate and love is a thin one. Expect super hot, slightly kinky encounters that evolve into a total schmoop fest when these two finally get their act together.

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/61431879-step-bully

********

My Review: 4/5 Stars

For Jules and Ash, there is a fine line between love and hate. And with how they became stepbrothers, it's easy to see how the two of them pointed their anger at one another because pointing it at Mom and Dad wasn't quite enough. Now it's their senior year of college, and they spent the last few years perfecting avoiding one another and arguing when they had to be in the same room. But everything changes when their parents force them to share an apartment. Honestly, their parents are pretty crappy. And the situation they put them in was definitely not great either and their behavior the entire time toward their own sons, terrible. But their actions may end up being the best thing for Ash and Jules. Under the hate for one another, there is definitely a connection that neither wish to acknowledge or do anything about. Until they finally give in and it is an explosion. Things slowly start to shift between the two of them until something happens that finally snaps them out of whatever in between they found themselves in. And now there is no going back. They'll learn more about one another in a matter of weeks than the years they were forced in the same house. It took me a bit to get to this story with the amount of hate they had for one another, but once they get past it and let their walls down with one another, I couldn't put the story down. They are in a complicated situation but the feelings they have for one another outshines any complication as long as they have one another.

Never Have I Ever Book 3: Never Have I Ever Had a Bromance with a Teammate by Willow Dixon

Never Have I Ever Book 3

How could one kiss change everything between me and my best friend?

Jax has been my best friend since the day we met. We not only share our passion for baseball, but we train together, play on the same team, hang out together, even sleep in the same bed half the time.

I feel safe with him, and he gets me like no one else. Yeah, he’s gay and I’m straight, but that doesn’t matter.

Until it does.
Until one stupid dare to kiss each other leads to the most amazing, epic kiss of my life.
Until I suddenly can’t stop thinking about him, about what he awakens in me.
Until all I want is him.

Our bromance evolves into something much deeper, something that neither of us can define. I explore new territory with him and discover sides of myself I never knew I had.

But with not only our future in baseball on the line but also our friendship, how can this thing between us ever be more than temporary? A bromance between besties doesn’t have to change anything, right?

Matt and Jax’s story is a best friends-to-lovers romance between teammates who discover that a bromance between besties is exactly what they’ve always wanted but never thought they could have. Expect lots of bff banter, some serious steam, and tons of sweetness as these two oblivious jocks navigate the line between boyfriends and bros. It is the third novel in the exciting Never Have I Ever series but can be read as a standalone.

My Review: 4/5 Stars

It's Matt and Jax's turn and I have been definitely curious about these two best friends. Everyone can see that these guys are more than best friends and teammates. They were definitely made for one another. So what does it take for these two to cross that final line? Turns out a kiss on a dare. Jax has always been gay. He's out for the most part and doesn't really hide it. However, he knows if he wants to play professional baseball then he may have to hide who he is. As for Matt, he always believed he was straight but little signs here and there lately made him wonder if that was true. Especially after an unforgettable kiss with his best friend. Now he wonders if he was denying a piece of himself and wants to find out who he is truly is. The chemistry between Matt and Jax is off the charts. And when they cross the line of being more than friends, that chemistry is explosive. Both know that there may be a deadline to their fling but neither are ready to admit or let that go just yet. These two were such a blast. So in sync with one another, they are the perfect example of how great falling in love with your best friend can be. Really loved their story and I'm looking forward to Eli finally getting his story next!

Off Sides by Andi Jaxon

I loved this short story!! Takes place in the Darby U world. Which is where Hidden Scars takes place! This story follows Joey, the captain of the hockey team, and Nick, captain of the football team. And let me say I really want a whole book on them!! Nick and Joey meet at a gay bar/club and immediately sparks fly. A quick hook up and for Nick, he is hooked. He also realizes that Joey goes to Darby U and he can't help but wonder if he will run into him. Joey isn't exactly out and when it comes to relationships he finds it difficult to let go and be in the moment. But Nick changes everything for him. Is it just a one time thing? Or is their chemistry just that strong? And when Joey runs into him on campus, immediately he panics but realizes he can't stay away. Turns out these two really are made for one another and their story is just beginning. So seriously! Really want more for them. Loved the beginning of these two and the relationship they were going to try with one another.

Lost and Found by T. Ashleigh

Owen has been questioning sexuality since the incredible kiss with another man in college. But six years later and he still isn't sure who he is exactly. What he does know? The guy he hired for his assistant a while back is constantly on his mind. But Owen is Lance's boss. Bad idea to cross that line. Or is it. For Lance, crushing on your very likely straight boss is only a recipe for heartbreak. But then he learns that Owen may not be as straight as he thought. And one thing leads to another and... well, sparks are definitely flying between these two. Loved this short story about Owen and Lance! Such a fun couple with lots of laughing moments between them as they have a moment to connect and really fall in love.

Never Have I Ever Book 2: Never Have I Ever Submitted to My Enemy by Willow Dixon

Never Have I Ever Book 2

How could I not have realized the guy I’ve been chatting with online is the one person I hate?

Kai, the bad boy I broke my rules for. Who stomped all over my heart. Twice. He’s arrogant and annoying, and worse, he doesn’t even remember what he did to me.

He’s also my new presentation partner. I want nothing to do with him, but the more time we spend together, the more I realize he’s not the monster I’ve made him out to be. I want to keep hating him, but it’s hard when he’s made it his mission to get me to like him.

As if things weren’t messed up enough, enter MrWrong, the bossy as f*ck guy I’ve been chatting with online. Using an anonymous app was supposed to be an uncomplicated way to explore my more extreme interests. I didn’t count on meeting the only person who’s ever been able to give me not only what I want, but what I need.

I spent years denying my attraction to men to protect a broken heart. Now I have two guys I can’t stop thinking about.

F*ck my life.

Alex and Kai’s story is an enemies-to-lovers romance between classmates who discover they have more in common than they think. Expect lots of steamy, kinky conversations, and even hotter encounters when these classmates realize who they’ve been chatting with. My Review: 4/5 Stars

Alex has been struggling a bit more than normal. His best friend was lying to him about his relationship for weeks and in doing so drifting away from Alex. Though things have resolved, the hurt is still there. And for Alex it hits a little too close to home. He's always pushed aside and moved on from. Never feeling good enough. He feels he is too much and that people don't quite understand him. But things are about to change for Alex. When Alex gets paired up with Kai in class for a project, his guard immediately goes up. Kai may not remember meeting Alex but Alex sure does and the memories aren't great. But as he talks more and more with Kai, he starts to see a different side to him and the image he built up in his head isn't adding up with who he has to work with. And if that isn't enough, Alex has met someone online who he seems to connect with as well. And surprise, it's Kai! Though neither of them know it just yet. Meanwhile Kai is determined to get Alex to like him. He may not get why Alex seems to hate him but he won't give up on changing his mind. And he too is struggling with his feelings for this mysterious guy he met online. And when the two of them find out about the other, well things take a really interesting turn. Alex and Kai were such a great match and totally made for one another. They had great chemistry and this balance to them when it came to their relationship. Whether it was physical or emotional, they just worked. Nothing is ever easy for the two of them as they deal with their own stuff, but together, they have someone in each of their corners fighting for them. Really loved these two! Never Have I Ever Book 1: Never Have I Ever: Punched My Roommate's V-Card by Willow Dixon

Never Have I Ever Book 1

Why can’t I stop thinking about my roommate after walking in on him “taking care of business?”

What should have been a humiliating experience for both of us ends up being the start of one of the best friendships I’ve ever had. Finn is smart, adorkable, and his shyness pushes all my buttons. The problem? My interest in him quickly shifts from friendship to something less than platonic. Feelings I’ve been pushing down for years bubble up to the surface, and I find myself unable to see him as just a friend, or keep my hands to myself.

When a night out leads to some extracurricular fun, Finn and I decide to have a no-strings-attached fling. He’s the perfect person to explore my bisexuality with, and our chemistry is off the charts. Finn might still have his V-Card, but he’s not inexperienced, and the more we’re together, the more we learn about ourselves.

Until it’s not enough.

I want him, and he wants me, but the idea of coming out terrifies me. Is Finn the person who can help me discover who I am? And can I get my head out of my a*s in time to prove to him I’m worth taking a chance on?

Beck and Finn’s story is a friends-to-lovers MM romance between roommates who discover that opposites really do attract. Expect super hot, slightly kinky encounters, a houseful of quirky college guys, and a ton of sweetness once this jock and nerd finally get on the same page. It is the first novel in the exciting new Never Have I Ever series but can be read as a standalone.

My Review: 4/5 Stars

After an awkward encounter involving roommates opening a closed bedroom, what should have been awkward interactions, actually sparked a friendship between Beck and Finn. It gave them a chance to get to know one another and from there things start slowly changing between them. Finn is a nerdy and shy guy who doesn't do well around big crowds and meeting new people. So trying to date becomes a bit of a challenge for him. But when he forms a friendship with his secret crush and roommate, Beck, who tries to coax Finn out his shell, it results in his crush only getting stronger. And for good reason. Turns out, Finn isn't as straight as he once believed. Finn has always had questions about his sexuality but never really pushed it. But his connection with Finn is so strong, he starts to ask himself these questions again and slowly realizes that he is in fact bisexual. The two of them begin a hook up relationship that is just between them. Finn would never push Beck to come out, especially when Beck isn't ashamed of their relationship, but is more trying to wrap his head around who he is after keeping it buried so long. These two are the absolute sweetest and they bring out different sides to one another the more they get to know the other. They are full of surprises and their story was such a fun one! Definitely looking forward to the rest of their roommates' stories.

Games We Play Book 3.5: Mistle-Joe Kisses by DJ Jamison

Games We Play Book 3.5

Tis the season for Mistle-Joe kisses...

What happens when I step under the mistletoe with my co-worker at a holiday party? An idiotic, reckless mistake that could change everything.

Our sweet, chaste kiss quickly turns to fire. And when Joe offers himself up for the taking, I'm no longer strong enough to deny myself. At least, for one night.

It can't go any further. I've been down that road before--and mixing business and pleasure cost me everything. But the craving for him only gets stronger once I know how good we can be together.

Joe is sweet and considerate, and judging by the friendly overtures, he'd like more. But how can I trust my heart when it's led me astray before?

It's going to take a holiday festival, a drunk Santa, and a romantic carriage ride to make me see my grinchy heart has space to grow--a space just for Joe.

My Review: 4/5 Stars

In this Christmas novella set in the Games We Play series, we get Joe and Augustus's story. The two of them work for Darren at the auto shop and are absolutely the sweetest together! So a little different from the games that lead to everyone's love story, these two get caught under the mistletoe. And after eyeing one another at work countless times, the kiss between is the confirmation that their chemistry is off the charts. But nothing is ever that simple. Augustus has been burned badly in the past when it came to dating a coworker. And though this situation is completely different, it's hard to overcome a past hurt like his. But Joe isn't one to give up. He wants to show Augustus how much he cares about him and if Augustus truly feels nothing for him, he'll walk away. Even if it means breaking his own heart. The two of them have had rough pasts when it comes to love, but together they could heal their old wounds and find their perfect match. A fun short novella in this series, you definitely don't want to miss this one!

Games We Play Book 3: 7 Minutes in Kevin by DJ Jamison

Games We Play Book 3

7 minutes in...holy heck, what have I done?!

What happens when I return early from a work trip to find my son throwing yet another party?

Annoyance. Exasperation. Temptation...

I'm tired, yearning for my bed, but I hadn't counted on the games my son and his friends play--or the one person who'd be waiting in my closet after everyone else is gone.

The guy who's been haunting my fantasies lately.

He's too beautiful. Too young. Too off-limits, being one of my son's best friends.

And...on his knees for me.

Oh god.

7 Minutes in Kevin is a son's best friend romance with a bi-curious dad, an androgynous beauty who challenges his understanding of himself, and a quirky small town full of watching eyes.

My Review: 4/5 Stars

It's been no secret in this series that Kevin has serious feelings for his friend's father, Garrett. But Kevin never imagined that Garrett would ever show interest in him and in doing so, he'll keep a big secret to protect those he cares about and himself. Another party game has led to another couple! This time leading to a hook up between Garrett and Kevin. Kevin has finally had a chance with this guy he has been basically in love with for a long time and now worries that Garrett will regret it. And Garrett has finally given himself permission to see Kevin as more than his son's friend. Yes, things are complicated. The age gap, the fact that Garrett hasn't been in a relationship with a man before, and just a number of things. But the most important thing is that these two care for one another more than anything. They'll have to navigate a complicated relationship and keep their feelings to themselves in fear of actually scaring the other away. Little do they truly realize just how much the other cares. This was another fun story in this series!

Divorced Men's Club Book 4: Employing Patience by Saxon James

Divorced Men's Club Book 4

Art

When it comes to regrets, I have none. My life is perfect. I own a bar, work hard, party harder, and smother my niblings in all the love they deserve. I don’t need to settle down, as much as my sister might want me to.

But then Joey Manning walks into my office and leaves me all but begging to give him a job … and wanting to give him so much more.

The self-professed straight man is in my head and while I know that I need to move on from him, my body isn’t getting that message. It doesn’t help that Joey is a grade A flirt who can banter with the best of them.

I’ve never had regrets. Not until Joey Manning.

Joey

The bills keep piling up and the pressure to get my sisters through college before we’re evicted is always on the back of my mind. Whoever said life was for living, clearly forgot that living’s expensive.

My default mode is stressed AF and working myself to the bone, and there’s only one person who gives me a break from all that.

Art de Almeida.

My boss.

The one man I shouldn’t flirt with, but I can’t seem to stop. I want to get under his skin. To leave him panting for me. Which wouldn’t be such a bad thing except that he thinks I’m straight, and I’ve never bothered to correct him.

I need this job.

But some days I worry that I need Art more.

My Review: 5/5 Stars

Been waiting for this story very patiently for this story! We've seen glimpses of Art and Joey and have been waiting for the day where Art finally gives in and admits he is very interested (and will actually doing something about it) in Art. We get their first meeting together where Joey is looking for a job. And we see lots of their flirting. For Art, he has no problem admitting he is attracted to Joey. But with Joey saying that he is straight, Art doesn't believe anything will happen. He knows Joey is simply a flirt and they may tease one another but Art won't make a move unless he knows it is more than a game for Joey. Instead, he'll sit on the sidelines and stew, while also trying very hard to move on. He's the guy for one night stands, he doesn't do relationships... right? For Joey, he's been working really hard to keep things at home afloat. He supports both his younger sisters, one who is in college and the other who is finishing up high school. He works hard (and even gets another job in addition to working at Art's bar( and barely has time for himself. And he is trying to finish a high school diploma that he never got to finish. It's tough when the bills keep piling up. Then add in the complication of Art. Joey is just as attracted to Art and loves the flirting game they play. He's never really identified himself as anything other than straight more because he's never been with a man and also, any time he has been attracted to a man, it never lasted long. The label of bisexual never felt right. But when it comes to Art? Things are very much different. And he wants to prove to Art that he is serious when it comes to wanting to be with him. And that maybe just maybe, Art wants to be with him too. Loved these two! I was looking forward to this story and it's been well worth the wait! Joey and Art have the best banter and are such a great pairing. You'll be cheering for these two to finally get together. Really looking forward to the next one in this series!

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
