Vancouver Orcas Book 3: Game On by Amy Aislin

Vancouver Orcas Book 3

When he broke off his engagement to his team captain's brother the day before their wedding, Jamie Jamieson swore he'd never get involved with anyone associated with a teammate again. Getting traded to the Orcas is a chance at a fresh start, but one glance at his new housemate, and Jamie knows he's in way over his head.

Dorian is his new coach's cousin. And his team's social media coordinator. And his housemate.

It's the trifecta of bad ideas.

Dorian Shore doesn't do hockey. He's lived by that rule for years, ever since a season playing as a kid left him with emotional scars. But his new housemate—a big, buff, beautiful athlete who gets under his skin—makes him seriously consider doing a hockey player.

It’s not a good idea.
They live together.
They work together.

When the sparks between them ignite, will it be game on or game over?

My Review: 5/5 Stars

I couldn’t wait to get Dorian’s story after having the previous two Shore cousins! And it did not disappoint. Dorian usually avoids hockey, but for the sake of his best friends and cousins, lately he has been trying a bit harder. Like becoming the Orcas’s social media manager and even hosting the newest member of the Orcas’s team, Jamie. But he didn’t plan for the connection that sparks immediately with him and his newest housemate. Getting involved with one of his cousin’s players isn’t a good idea. Right? But what really tugs at Dorian is the fact that Jamie has his own reservations about being more than friends. For Jamie, leaving his previous team couldn’t have happened faster. After a mutual break up with his ex, who is the brother of the captain on his old team, things took a bad turn. Half the team no longer treated him like a friend and Jamie started hating going to work. And when he heard the Orcas’s wanted him, he pushed his agent to get him traded. And lucky for him it worked out. But being on a new team is a bit scary to Jamie. He doesn’t know how they’ll react to a new team member. And then there is Dorian. So many reasons for not getting involved with someone connected to the Orcas, but every moment he spends with Dorian, he falls a little harder. And it is only a matter of time until he will let himself follow his heart than let his past hurt his future. I adored these two! They were beyond cute. Their dynamic was so great and fun and sweet. You just wanted to cheer for these two to take a chance! I couldn’t put this story down. It’s such a fun world to be in!

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
