Dark Olympus Book 6: Midnight Ruin by Katee Robert

Dark Olympus Book 6

Eurydice Dimitriou has always been the innocent sister, but she's finally ready to step out of the long shadow cast by her powerful family…and the ex who shattered her heart. Perhaps rough hands on soft skin are exactly what she needs to forget her heartbreak once and for all?

Charon Ariti has been Hades's right-hand man for years. He's given everything to the lower city, but now he's ready to take something for himself. He's only too happy to give Eurydice a special kind of education…but is her heart really free enough to be claimed?

Orpheus Makos will do whatever it takes to make things right. Once the golden boy of the upper city, he's now a shadow of his former self. He'll do anything to get Eurydice back…even if it means she's not coming into his arms alone. Three hearts. Three futures. Countless ways to get it wrong.

But with enemies slipping through Olympus's faltering barrier to lay siege on the lower city, a trio of broken hearts will be the least of these would-be lovers' worries…

My Review: 5/5 Stars

We’ve been waiting patiently for the last daughter of Demeter to get her story for what feels like forever now. But it was well worth the wait! Eurydice needed the year to pick herself and be the woman she is today. And not just her by Orpheus and even Charon as well. The time has come for change. For all of them. Eurydice admits to Charon that though she has fallen for him too, she really doesn’t know if she can give her full heart to him. Not when she doesn’t have the closure that came from the heartbreak with Orpheus. A part of her heart will always belong to him. Charon has been patient when it has come to feelings for Eurydice. He knows he may not have all of her but even a part of her is enough. And if they are finally going to start something then maybe it’s time for to make things happen. When Charon visits Orpheus he tells him if he wants to make things right, come to the lower city and do so. Charon never expects Orpheus to immediately follow through. And none of them expected the chemistry that sparks when the three of them are all together. They all get that immediate feeling that this is how things are supposed to be. The three of them. Together. We get some much needed redemption from Orpheus and an understanding of what happened between him and Eurydice. Everyone has changed so much and the versions of themselves they are now are humbled and are in a place to start building their future. I really liked their dynamic in the sense that you could see just how well these three fit together in a relationship. They have a nice balance to one another. Even this early in their relationship. And it was nice to see them stepping into their own and getting the happiness they deserved. And if it wasn’t enough to have this in the story, we have a whole new level of change when it comes to Olympus as a whole. Lot of things go down in this one and by the end, everything has changed. We finally get some answers to mysteries we’ve been waiting on by these answers tend to leave more questions and an end to this story that will change everything for the future of Olympus. I cannot wait until the next book! And just the rest of the series that is promised. There is a lot of story left to tell and I am here for it!
