My Review: 5/5 Stars
An epic conclusion to Annie and Cyrus's story! It's time to end it once and for all. Annie and Cyrus are determined to not be separated again and that means fighting back against the demon wolves and the demon that threatens to take Annie. While that is one problem they are facing, we finally receive answers on who the alpha is that wanted to kidnap Sterlyn from back in her books. Everything is coming full circle. The action and romance are kicked up a notch in this story and everyone is together and ready to fight for those they love! You don't want to miss this story!

Finally got to this Sarina Bowen book and it was great! I can't believe it took me so long since in a very small way it connects to the Truth North series! So this story follows Joshua and Caleb. They are both part of this terrible cult in Wyoming. For Josh, it is extra terrible because he is treated worse than a lot of members there. He is put down all the time and he lives in fear of the day he gets kicked out. That and he is in love with his best friend who is a man. And when the elders have the perfect chance to throw him out for something he didn't do, he has no idea what will happen next. But he is surprised to see he won't be alone. Caleb promises him that he will find him and that he just needs to wait until he gets there. Then they'll both be free. Caleb keeps his promise and together they make their way to Massachusetts where a friend who had runaway from the compound lives. And Joshua is stunned to learn that Caleb not only has always planned for them to leave together but he is in love with him as well. Together they will face a lot of ups and downs as they try to find their place in this new life. As well as coming to terms with who they are together and on their own. Loved this story. Joshua and Caleb were so sweet together! I couldn't put the book down. Just another great story by Sarina Bowen.

My Review: 5/5 Stars
I say this every time, but I really do love jumping back into this series and this world. They are just such sweet and fun romances in a small town filled with hilarious and such fun characters that I wish were real. So this story follows Nash Winters who we met in the previous Story since he is Maggie's brother. Nash has moved to Ryker Falls and is quickly becoming the town's grump and recluse. But no one can remain that way long in Ryker Falls. Not when they are surrounded by good people and friends who are ready to drag you out and socialize. Nash thinks he is doing well in avoiding everyone but that is quickly shut down when he mets Luna. Luna has come to Ryker Falls for a break and to catch up with her friend, Charlie. The stress and downsides of her job as a social media influencer is truly taking a toll on her and it's time to recharge, relax, and figure out what is next. But then she crosses pass with Nash. The grumpy jerk who thinks he has her pegged and despite their snarky encounters with one another, she feels a pull toward him. And him with her, which we learns scares him because he has been burned before. But, when they lay down their weapons, they find that getting along isn't that hard. But things get complicated when the negatives of Luna's life follow her to town. Especially when things take a dangerous turn. Loved this book! I loved Nash and Luna. They were great characters and it is always great to see our past favorite characters sticking their noses in Nash's business to help him out when it comes to his love life. Never gets old. Love this series and can't wait for the next one where it is finally Luke's turn!

My Review: 3.5/5 Stars
I've read Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti's books before. I read their Solaria world books (Zodiac Academy, Ruthless Boys, and Darkmore). I knew their style and was warned what type of books these are. So warning upfront, if you aren't into bully romances you won't like this. Truthfully, it's not my thing either. I've read a few here and there. Zodiac Academy definitely started that way in the series but I have to say I think Everlake may be a tad worse in that aspect. It was a little challenging for me to get into the story. And with this series focusing on their own version of a pandemic, I wasn't sure if I was going to stick with story. With that said, I did finish it. And I'm intrigued enough to keep going. The characters are brutal in their own ways. But interesting monsters that make me want to know why they are the way they are. How they got shaped into this very different personalities. Also, what I really want to know and why I'm going to continue the series, is I want to see if they can be redeemed in anyway. How do their stories play out? Even after all the bad? The glimpses of good are there and I am curious to see more.
So to set the story up, we follow several points of view in this story, but our story starts with Tatum. Her father is dropping her off at a rich kid boarding school because he has to be somewhere for work where she can't go for once. Her father is a virologist and with a bad virus released, his job just got busy. Tatum has no idea what kind of school it truly is that she got dropped off at. First off, the school is run by three guys who call themselves the Night Keepers. Saint, Blake, and Kyan. She can see the darkness stirring in all three of them and feels a pull toward them. But her first few days of perhaps not making any enemies and trying to make friends for once comes crashing down when it is released that her father is the cause of the virus that has rapidly spread. Everyone turns on her despite her protests at the lies. But the ones who turn on her the most are the Night Keepers. Specifically Blake who lost his mother to the virus months earlier. Now all his grief and rage has been released and he found someone to take it out on: Tatum. Tatum doesn't break easily but the Night Keepers will test at every step and do whatever they can to destroy her. But underneath all the hate is a small layer that feels a pull toward Tatum. It's messy and complicated and you'll both hate and love these characters at their complexities. Tatum is kick ass and strong. If anyone can handle them, it's her. And when she finds an ally in Monroe, a young teacher with his own issue with the Night Keepers, she may find a way to fight back.
Overall, the story was pretty good considering. And like I said earlier, I'm just too intrigued by these characters to not keep going. I want to see those redemption arcs and what that looks like for those who could show the deepest of cruelty but also the deepest of protectiveness. Guess we'll see!
Cover Reveal! Love Lessons by Sarina Bowen
He needs an image makeover, she needs a mojo upgrade. A new lessons-in-seduction hockey romance from Wall Street Journal bestselling author Sarina Bowen.
After I’m arrested for throwing a raucous party, my hockey team says I have an image problem. And I need to fix it, stat.
Charity work? Check. Haircut? Sure. But I draw the line at hiring my neighbor to style me. In the first place “style” shouldn’t be a verb. And I’m tired of people who’d judge me on appearances.
Vera and I don’t see eye to eye on anything. She wants me to try on clothes, while I just want to remove hers. She's distractingly pretty, with soulful eyes and a sinful mouth that likes to argue with me.
But when management threatens my summer vacation, I grudgingly agree to Vera’s unusual proposal: she’ll give me an image makeover. But in return, she wants lessons in the art of seduction.
It sounds a little nutty, but I know a good opening when I hear it. Besides, it’s not like I’ll ever fall for her…
