My Review: 5/5 Stars

My third series by Jessie Donovan and I was pleasantly surprised how quickly I loved the story and the characters. Blaze of Secrets is just the beginning of what I believe will be a great series. I love Kiarra's fire (and yes that was a bit of a pun) and how despite the horrors of her past she learns with the help of Jaxton to push past it and become strong and who she is meant to be. Jaxton sees the fire in Kiarra and drawn to her in a way he never has been with anyone else. Kiarra finds herself rescued from the AMT, what is basically a prison for those with abilities where they are treated as experiments,  by DEFEND, those who are trying to put an end to the AMT. Work that was done on Kiarra has made the researchers believe that they have finally found a way to null those with abilities. Jaxton becomes Kiarra's trainer, to help her heal from her imprisonment and help her learn to defend herself. After being attacked at their base, Kiarra and Jaxton are sent to find answers. On their journey to become closer to one another and more secrets are revealed. Action packed with a promise of a story that is just starting, I'm super excited to read the rest of the series!
