Rom-Com Reboot Book 2 |
My friends are all about the romance. Me? I've got other things to worry about.
Carrying on my uncle's little record store--his legacy--means everything to me. Too bad a big audio store promising to be the one-stop shop for music is opening across the street. The owner, Chase Fox, is too friendly, too smooth--too annoying. He knows I'm straight, and his competition besides, and still he flirts with me. My only comfort is the new friend I met on the Seattle Life site. We never exchanged real names, and I don't know if they're a guy or a girl, but there's a freedom in that. I can say anything to them without holding back. But as time goes on, I get more curious. And more confused. Could my online pal be more than a friend? Even if they're not a woman? And why are Chase's flirty smiles suddenly giving me flutters and making me wish for the impossible--that my business rival and my closest online friend might actually be the same guy. A guy meant to be mine.
You've Got Male is Book 2 in the Rom-Com Reboot series that takes inspiration from classic Hollywood movies, gives them a new twist, a lot more M/M heat, and a satisfying HEA!

My Review: 5/5 Stars
Austin has been struggling to keep his uncle’s record store alive. His legacy means everything to Austin and he doesn’t want to mess it up. But things get complicated when Chase Fox comes to his neighborhood. Chase is setting up a store of his own based off his own grandmother’s chain, and the competition between the stores could be a real problem. Austin fears for his store and isn’t sure he can trust Chase’s promise of not wanting to harm Austin’s store but wants to work together to bring in business to the neighborhood. Plus it doesn’t help with Chase’s charm and constant flirting that confuses Austin more often than not. But little does Austin know the online friend he has and who he has a strong connection with is none other than Chase. And when the two finally realize it? Well, going from “rivals” to lovers is a whole new level of complicated. When Chase finds out, he is only more determined to prove to Austin that his feelings are real. That he likes both the online guy and the store owner. But can he prove that to Austin? These two were adorable! A very sweet rivals to lovers story, I couldn’t put this story down! This series is a ton of fun reimagining classic rom-coms and I can’t wait for more!
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
