Definitely another favorite of this series! No surprise that Becca Steele has given us yet another enemies to lover story featuring football players that you can’t help but love. Theo and Jordan’s rivalry started when they were kids and escalated through the years. Now, they are put on the same football team and though they try to be civil to one another, that ultimately backfires. They know exactly how to get under one another’s skins. There is a tension that they just don’t seem to understand but the moment they do, it will change everything. To force them to deal with their issues, their managers send them to Black Diamond to work it out and come back refreshed and with new attitudes toward one another. And Black Diamond is a pretty magical place. Everything changes after a few days on the island. As they get to know one another better, they start seeing one another in a new light. And once they recognize the sexual attraction they, well their relationship will never be the same. And things will only get more complicated when they return home. I adored this story! I really loved the set up. We had before the island, the island, and after. We got to see these two grow as people and fall for one another as they finally let their defenses down. Theo and Jordan were such a great pair! Equally matched in so many ways, and they constantly challenged one another while also supporting the other. A super sweet couple once they finally got passed the enemies stage of their relationship. Loved this story!
