Noel didn’t have the best high school experience, so as soon as he was done he left and tried not to look back. Hard to do considering he loved his parents and their Christmas tree farm. But if he wanted to pursue his dream as a chef, he needed to leave. Ten years later, he is exhausted and his new head chef gig has exploded. And when he calls home and realizes that he missed his father’s health scare, he realizes just how much he has been neglecting his family. And when he sees that Hopper has basically moved in and “replaced” him, well he can’t help but be a little insecure and wary of his motives. But the more he learns about Hopper, the more he realizes how wrong he is. And that he may be falling for him. But his life is in Chicago, he can’t stay…right? Hopper can’t help but be a little wary that Noel has returned. He hasn’t been around in a long time, even missing the fact that his father was in the hospital. But as they get to know one another again, he realizes just how talented Noel is. And he is falling for him harder each day. He knows his heart will break when Noel leaves. But what if he can get him to stay? This was such a fun Christmas story! I loved getting to know Noel and Hopper and watching them fall in love. I also loved the many cameos from Granville and Riverton! Those are always so much fun to see. If you need a Christmas story and love DJ Jamison, then this is the book for you!
