Longwood Book 3.5: Dirty Wrong Love by Crea Reitan

Longwood U Book 3.5

Who knew crushing on the same guy could be so hot?

Skye

It was one night. It shouldn’t bother me the way it does when my father drops the bomb that he and my mom are not only divorcing but he’s also been seeing Nolan for the last couple months, I feel like the air was stolen from my lungs.

The blows keep coming. I can’t stay away from Orion. Everything is so charged and good but somehow, it’s escalating. Now we’re on a road trip with Dad and Nolan in a tight, confined space.

Orion

There’s no doubt in my mind that we won’t be returning home the same as when we left. I’m not wrong. It takes less than a week for everything to get hot, heavy, and consuming. There are questions we’re ignoring as we fall deeper and deeper into a love like no other.

How can something so damn good be considered wrong? Not that it matters. I’ll happily keep this dirty wrong love for the rest of my life and die a happy man.

My Review: 4/5 Stars

If you haven’t read Project FU then be sure to do so before picking this up or else be very confused! This story is probably best read in tandem with it, the chapters are marked so you can follow along. Or you can do what I did and read it after. Which worked just fine for me! Also, this story is TABOO. So if it’s not your thing, then don’t proceed. For me, while taboo isn’t my go to, I adore this world Crea has created. I love her characters, so for me it is easy to slip in to the story to see these characters continue their journey. With that said, this story follows Orion and Skye. We get pieces of what was going on with them during in Project FU up to where that book ends, and this takes over. In their story, as they continue to explore this relationship between them, they soon realize that they could have more. That being with Nolan and Davis. A roadtrip together gives everyone a chance to see what a future between them as partners can look like. While also learning more about Nolan and his family and how love is truly just love. And there is on shame in loving someone. I really liked getting to know Skye and Orion more and seeing them solidify the family that has always been theirs but now is more and expanded a bit.  You can’t help but love these characters and cheer for them as they find their happy ending!

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
