Bellamy Creek Book 3: Call Me Crazy by Melanie Harlow

Call Me Crazy (Bellamy Creek, #3)
Bellamy Creek Book 3

It was the perfect plan.
I needed a wife—temporarily—in order to inherit the family business.
And she needed a favor—the kind that takes nine months to deliver.

We had it all worked out, from the no-touching policy on our wedding night (her rule) to the no-falling-in-love decree (mine). She’d marry me, I’d give her the means to have the baby she’d always wanted, and one year later we’d amicably part ways with no hassle, no demands, and certainly no regrets.

After all, Bianca DeRossi and I are experts at infuriating one another—we’ve been doing it since we were kids. Trouble is, she grew up gorgeous and feisty, and she still knows exactly how to get under my skin.

And that wedding night? Well, it doesn’t exactly go down hands-free.

Then she moves in with me, and I really start to lose my mind. From her sexy little pout to her wicked sense of humor to those meatball sandwiches she makes just because she knows they’re my favorite . . . I find myself wanting to break every rule we put in place.

Our story was never supposed to end with happily ever after.
But call me crazy, I just might be in love with my wife.

My Review: 5/5 Stars

Enzo and Bianca's story was exactly what I expected and more. Their deal and contract was doomed the moment the two conceived the idea. Enzo wanted his dad to officially give him the family business and to do that he needed to get married. Something Enzo did not want and especially didn't want if he was being forced to do it. Bianca wants a baby and knows time is running out for her and she is done waiting for the right man to come along. Let alone one that won't break her hurt. A deal between frenemies that believe they can get what they want and then divorce as friends. But their plan goes out the window rather quickly. Their chemistry is off the charts in every that matters. First off, the two of them are absolutely hilarious. I couldn't wait to see what they would fight about next and they are genuinely just funny characters. The better twist to this story wasn't that it wasn't so typical. They weren't arguing or even truly enemies. Their deal made them establish a real friendship between them and they realizes that they actually enjoyed one another's company. But things get difficult as Bianca tries to get pregnant. Sometimes things take time or can't happen. And this tests Enzo and Bianca to the max. Will they realize that though they said "no feelings," the truth is that they actually do? And will they actually take that leap of faith? Can they move past the possibility of starting a family may not be in the cards for them? Overall, I loved this book and loved seeing some favorite characters. And reading Enzo and Bianca get their happily ever after. Plus! Looks like the next book in the series is set up nicely in this book, so I definitely can't wait to see what happens next!
