My Review: 5/5 Stars

Not gonna lie, I was worried when I started this book because of all that had happened in the previous book. But! This book was an excellent way to end the series. I was pretty satisfied with everything that had gone down. So, in this finale Emberfall is slowly falling. The people are losing faith in Rhen and Rhen is struggling on what to do. And if that wasn't enough, Lilith is back and the tormenting has only gotten worse. Harper is still angry about the decisions Rhen has recently made, but the two of them finally talk and are honest. Now with everything on the table, they can figure out a plan. Together. Lia Mara and Grey are struggling to gain the trust of Syhl Shallow's army and advisors. They still want peace and hope that Rhen will yield to peace. But they have to be prepared if in the end war is the only choice. And when Rhen and Harper make a decision that can finally lead to peace, Lilith takes a drastic measure. Little does she know, her actions may be just what everyone needs to work together. What I loved about this book was the growth with Rhen. And even Harper. A lot has happened to them and yet throughout this story they find a way back to one another and to work together. And with all the choices Rhen made, he finally gets to redeem himself and try to face his fears that Lilith caused. Then there is Grey, who has to make a decision on his feelings towards Rhen, his brother. The story was definitely open ended. Some issues still left unsolved, but there is definitely a start to healing for all these great characters. I loved this book. And couldn't put it down. And if there are more books coming out for this series,  I would definitely read them!
