My Review: 4/5 Stars
Dawson has had a crush on Briar for a while now. When Briar walks into Dawson’s coffee shop and they get to chat is the highlight of his day. But the day Dawson finally gets the courage to ask Briar out ends up being the day Briar walks into the shop…with Dawson’s twin. Sad because he missed his chance and for the fact that his twin, Nathan, isn’t really the dating for long type, he can’t imagine this will end well. But he knows he can’t say or do anything because what if it’s not? But Dawson is proven right when Nathan dumps Briar right before the holidays. And then when one thing leads to another, Dawson finds himself accompanying Briar home to be his fake boyfriend. And as they spend more time together, Dawson feels like his initial gut feeling about them being together could be right. But does Briar feel the same? Briar knew Nathan probably wasn’t the one for him, but doesn’t mean it doesn’t hurt to get dumped before the holidays. Especially after mentioning to his parents that he was bringing someone. And sure it’s crazy to bring Dawson, but why does he feel like every moment they have together feels a lot more real than fake? Could there be something between them? This was a really cute holiday novella! Loved to see Dawson and Briar realize that they were meant to be all along! And in just in time for Christmas! If you want a sweet holiday romance, this book is definitely one to pick up!
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
