My Review: 5/5 Stars

I'm loving this series so far! Persephone and Hades are officially back together but things have only gotten more complicated. The media is on them and it threatens the normalcy that Persephone has always wanted. Plus it doesn't help in protecting herself from exposing herself as the Goddess of Spring. Then, Hades past catches up to him and it threatens to push Persephone away. She is starting to realize that despite how much she loves Hades, she doesn't know everything about him. And it scares her. How can they have a future when she doesn't know his past? Then tragedy strikes and Persephone finds herself making one bad decision after another. Her desperation shows and it hurts everyone around her. This book had so much going on! And it was only in Persephone's point of view! I can just imagine what Hades's pov book will look like. Again, one of my favorite parts of this series is how Greek mythology is woven in to this new adaption. Every name is some sort of clue and I always wonder okay is their original story we know from myth already established or will we be seeing some new version of it come to be during this time? I love it. This book does put a lot of strain between Hades and Persephone but it is the only way to make them grow and be stronger. Really loving the series so far and I can't wait for more!
