The Tower of Nero (The Trials of Apollo, #5)
The Trials of Apollo Book 5

At last, the breathtaking, action-packed finale of the #1 bestselling Trials of Apollo series is here! Will the Greek god Apollo, cast down to earth in the pathetic moral form of a teenager named Lester Papadopoulos, finally regain his place on Mount Olympus? Lester's demigod friends at Camp Jupiter just helped him survive attacks from bloodthirsty ghouls, an evil Roman king and his army of the undead, and the lethal emperors Caligula and Commodus. Now the former god and his demigod master Meg must follow a prophecy uncovered by Ella the harpy. Lester's final challenge will be at the Tower of Nero, back in New York. Will Meg have a last showdown with her father? Will this helpless form of Apollo have to face his arch nemesis, Python? Who will be on hand at Camp Half-Blood to assist? These questions and more will be answered in this book that all demigods are eagerly awaiting.

My Review: 5/5 Stars

What a fantastic end to an amazing series. This series was such a rollercoaster. It brought back so many amazing characters throughout the entire Percy Jackson world. I laughed (a lot). I cried (a lot). It was such a great series and this last book really did a wonderful job. After all the hardships Apollo has gone through he in in the endgame now. Apollo has learned so much during his time as a mortal. Lessons were learned and his character arc was fantastic. Few battles are left. It is time to defeat Nero and then his greatest enemy, Python. And it won't be easy. Apollo and Meg make it back to New York and gain a new ally. They see old friends and make it back to camp, ready to figure out a plan to take down Nero. Nico and Will (love them so much) and Rachel play an important role in this last quest. It was a very satisfying story and ending to this series. And the ending itself was a great way to wrap up everything we have come to love about this demigod world. You won't be disappointed in this final story. Love, love, loved it.

Also!!! I see what you did there Rick at the end. Not gonna let it go. I need my Nico and Will book, please and thank you!! :) You may be done writing series in this world, but I'm pretty sure you won't mind writing some standalones!! Cause seriously, I need it badly!
