Caraval Series Book 3: Finale by Stephanie Garber

Finale (Caraval, #3)
Caraval Series Book 3
Welcome, welcome to Finale, the third and final book in Stephanie Garber’s #1 New York Times bestselling Caraval series!

A love worth fighting for. A dream worth dying for. An ending worth waiting for.

It’s been two months since the Fates were freed from a deck of cards, two months since Legend claimed the throne for his own, and two months since Tella discovered the boy she fell in love with doesn’t really exist.

With lives, empires, and hearts hanging in the balance, Tella must decide if she’s going to trust Legend or a former enemy. After uncovering a secret that upends her life, Scarlett will need to do the impossible. And Legend has a choice to make that will forever change and define him.

Caraval is over, but perhaps the greatest game of all has begun. There are no spectators this time: only those who will win, and those who will lose everything.

Welcome, welcome to Finale. All games must come to an end…

My Review: 5/5 Stars

The magic of Caraval has come to an end and wow I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. Don't get me wrong. The last two books in the series were fantastic. But there was something about Finale that blew me away and made me love the story, the characters, and the magic all over again. The twists and turns that always took me by surprise in Caraval and Legendary did not disappoint me in Finale. There was so much more happening this time and more dangerous games and players were on the board. Who is good? Who is bad? The story takes place two months after the events in Legendary and this time the story is told between Scarlett and Tella. There are always surprises when it comes to these books and let me tell you, this one was no different. I did not see a ton of what was coming and it made the story that much more special. The Fates were loose and unpredictable because those who are immortal and magic always are. And one of the biggest surprises in this story was Legend himself. His and Tella's love story was only just beginning in Legendary. Meanwhile, Scarlett and Julian are finally realizing the depth of their love for one another. But like I said, the Fates are loose and that means there is plenty of trouble and danger waiting for them. The conclusion to this trilogy is everything I hoped for in an ending to a series, especially one filled with so much magic, hope, and love. I'm sad it's over, but it was quite a story to read!
